  • Strategic Data Project
    The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE) and the Strategic Data Project, a program of the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University, joined together to release the Delaware College-Going Diagnostic: An Analysis of the First State Students’ College Readiness. Using six years of data from DDOE and the National Student Clearinghouse, the diagnostic examines students’ progression through high school, how well they stay on track for graduation, and whether they enroll and persist in postsecondary education.
  • College Success Report
    Increasing college completion begins with increasing college enrollment — and Delaware is making strides on that front. In 2014, 60 percent of Delaware public high school graduates enrolled in college immediately after graduation, up from 55 percent in 2012.  And thanks to initiatives like the Delaware Higher Education Office’s Getting to Zero, which provides college-ready high school students with guidance and supports to pursue higher education, this percentage is sure to increase in the coming years.
